Plain English summary
This website uses strictly necessary technologies and may use analytics and advertising technologies only after consent. Cookies are small files placed on a device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, scripts, software development kits, device identifiers and other tools that store or read information from a device.
Cookie and storage/access rule
Strictly necessary cookies may be used where required for security, session management, basket operation, checkout, fraud prevention, or storing a user's privacy preference. Analytics, advertising, remarketing, social tracking, profiling pixels, and comparable non-essential technologies require clear information and valid consent before they operate. The user must be able to reject non-essential technologies as easily as accepting them.
Cookie tables must match the live website. Tags must not be hidden behind vague wording. Consent logs should record the user's choice, date, category, and version of the notice presented.
Cookie and technology categories
| Category | Examples | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Session, basket, checkout, security, CSRF, preference storage | Website operation, fraud prevention, basket and checkout, privacy preference storage | Not required where strictly necessary |
| Analytics | Google Analytics identifiers such as GA category identifiers | Understand website usage, page performance and aggregate customer journeys | Required |
| Advertising and measurement | Google Ads conversion tags, Meta Pixel and comparable ad measurement technologies | Measure campaign performance, attribute conversions, build audiences where consented | Required |
| Marketplace and embedded content | Marketplace or social content only where embedded by the website | Display content or connect a user to an external platform | Required unless strictly necessary |
Strictly necessary technologies
Strictly necessary technologies support core functions such as page routing, logged-in sessions, basket operation, checkout security, fraud prevention, form protection, load balancing, and remembering a privacy preference. These should not be used as a cover for analytics, advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking.
Consent management
Where non-essential technologies are used, the banner must present a real choice. Buttons should be clear, equal in prominence, and understandable. Non-essential tags must remain blocked until the user has given the relevant consent.
Browser controls
Users can control cookies through browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the basket, account, checkout, download or security features from working. Browser controls do not replace the Company's duty to obtain consent where consent is required.
Updates
The Company updates this notice by publishing a revised version with a new effective date. The live tag configuration should be checked against this notice before publication and after any change to marketing, analytics, checkout, embedded content or security tooling.
