Our Warranty Commitment
At TORGEER (operated by UNIVERSALHOMEANDTECH LTD), we stand behind the quality of our products. This warranty policy outlines your rights and the protection we offer on all products purchased from torgeer.co.uk.
1. Standard Warranty
- All products sold by TORGEER come with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty from the date of delivery, unless otherwise stated on the product page.
- The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Some products may carry an extended manufacturer warranty (stated on the product page).
2. What Is Covered
The warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects (e.g. faulty charging cables, broken connectors on arrival)
- Premature failure under normal, intended use
- Defective materials or components
- Products that do not function as described
3. What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents or negligence
- Normal wear and tear (e.g. scratches, fading, battery degradation over time)
- Damage from liquid, heat, or exposure to extreme conditions
- Unauthorised modifications, repairs or tampering
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
- Products used with incompatible devices or accessories
- Screen protectors after application
4. Your Statutory Rights
This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under UK law. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
- Within 30 days: you are entitled to a full refund if goods are faulty
- Within 6 months: you are entitled to a repair or replacement; if this is not possible, a full refund
- After 6 months (up to 6 years): you may still be entitled to a repair, replacement, or partial refund, but you may need to demonstrate the fault was present at the time of purchase
5. How to Make a Warranty Claim

- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photographs or video showing the defect
- Our team will assess your claim within 3 business days
- If approved, we will offer a replacement, repair, or refund at our discretion
- If a return is required, we will provide instructions and cover the return postage for warranty claims
6. Replacement & Repair
- Replacement products are subject to stock availability. If the original product is no longer available, we will offer a comparable alternative or a full refund.
- Replacement products carry the remainder of the original warranty period.
7. Proof of Purchase
To process a warranty claim, you will need to provide proof of purchase. This can be:
- Order confirmation email
- Your TORGEER account order history
- Delivery confirmation
