Scope
This policy explains delivery practices for orders placed through https://torgeer.co.uk/ or through a platform where UNIVERSALHOMEANDTECH LTD is seller of record. Delivery options, prices and service levels are shown before the customer is bound by the order.
Dispatch and delivery estimates
Delivery estimates are estimates, not guaranteed times, unless the checkout expressly sells a guaranteed service. The Company aims to dispatch orders within the timeframe shown on the product page or checkout. Delays may occur because of fraud checks, payment checks, stock checks, courier disruption, customs, unsafe address information, restricted items, or events outside reasonable control.
Address accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Incorrect addresses may cause delay, failed delivery or return to sender. Additional postage may be charged where lawful and fair.
Risk and title
For consumer orders, risk normally passes when the goods are delivered to the consumer or a person nominated by the consumer. Title normally passes after full payment and acceptance of the order. Mandatory law controls where it gives the consumer stronger rights.
Failed delivery and collection points
If a courier attempts delivery and leaves a card, uses a collection point, or requests customer action, the customer should follow the courier instructions promptly. If goods are returned because they were not collected or the address was incorrect, the Company will explain the available options.
International delivery
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, restricted goods rules, local product rules or carrier limitations. These charges are not controlled by the Company unless checkout expressly says they are included. The customer is responsible for ensuring the product can lawfully be imported and used in the destination country.
Free UK shipping thresholds, marketplace delivery promises and international delivery limits must match the live listing and checkout wording. Lithium-containing goods may be restricted by carrier rules.
Damaged or missing parcels
Customers should report damaged, missing or incomplete delivery promptly with order number, photographs where available, packaging evidence and courier information. The Company may investigate with the courier and will handle the customer's statutory rights in accordance with consumer law.
