What this page covers
This is the Terms & Conditions for TORGEER®. It covers two things in one document:
Part A - Using this website: the rules that apply to anyone who visits or browses https://torgeer.co.uk/.
Part B - Buying from us: the contract that applies when a customer places an order on https://torgeer.co.uk/ or via a marketplace where UNIVERSALHOMEANDTECH LTD is seller of record.
Every visitor is bound by Part A. A visitor who places an order is additionally bound by Part B.
Who we are
UNIVERSALHOMEANDTECH LTD operates this website and all sales made through it. TORGEER® is a trading name of UNIVERSALHOMEANDTECH LTD - it does not create a separate legal entity. UK trade mark registration number UK00004313851 covers the TORGEER® mark for Class 9 goods. Registered office: 15a Shrubbery Road, London, SW16 2AS. Company number 16534780, England and Wales.
Part A - Using this website
Permitted use
Visitors may use the website for lawful browsing, customer enquiries, product review, account management, order placement, support, downloads, and other normal commercial purposes. Visitors must not misuse the website, interfere with its security, copy protected content at scale, scrape product data, submit false information, impersonate another person, introduce malware, bypass access controls, or use the website for unlawful purposes.
Intellectual property
Website text, layout, product descriptions, images, trade marks, software, databases, design elements, documents and brand assets are owned by or licensed to UNIVERSALHOMEANDTECH LTD unless stated otherwise. The TORGEER® mark must not be copied, misused or presented as a generic product name. Compatibility references must be accurate and must not imply endorsement by third-party device manufacturers. Commercial copying, republication, scraping, resale, or brand misuse requires written permission.
Accuracy of information
The Company aims to keep product, service, policy and pricing information accurate. Mistakes can occur. Where the law gives customers rights, those rights are not removed by this clause. The Company may correct obvious errors before accepting an order.
Links and third party services
The website may link to payment providers, marketplaces, couriers, social platforms, software repositories, documentation, or government guidance. External websites are controlled by their operators. The Company is not responsible for external content except where law says otherwise.
Security reports
Good-faith security reports should be made through the Company's vulnerability disclosure process. Visitors must not conduct intrusive testing, denial-of-service activity, credential attacks, social engineering, or access to data that does not belong to them.
Liability (website use)
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. For consumers, statutory rights remain unaffected. For business users, the website is provided for ordinary commercial information and use; binding rights and obligations arise under the applicable contract, licence, order, or terms of sale.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumer rights in a customer's country of residence may also apply where mandatory law requires that.
Part B - Buying from us
Contracting party
All sales are made by UNIVERSALHOMEANDTECH LTD. The brand name TORGEER® identifies the trading line but does not create a different seller.
Products covered
Products include phone cases, screen protectors, chargers, wireless charging accessories, cables, power banks, headphones, bundles and related Class 9 accessories.
Order process
Product pages describe the main characteristics of the goods, price, delivery charges, availability, condition, compatibility notes, included accessories, and any material limitation. The customer places an order by completing checkout and pressing the final payment button (labelled "Pay", "Place order" or wording with the same meaning).
A contract of sale is formed only when the Company sends a dispatch confirmation email identifying the goods that are actually being shipped. An order confirmation or payment receipt immediately after checkout acknowledges receipt of the order but does not by itself create a contract.
The Company may reject or cancel an order where stock is unavailable, payment is not authorised, the delivery address cannot be served, fraud-prevention checks fail, the product was mispriced by obvious error, or the order breaches law, marketplace rules or these terms. If payment has been taken for a rejected order, the Company will refund within 14 days of cancellation.
Obvious mispricing
Where the Company identifies an obvious mispricing before dispatch, it will contact the customer to either confirm the order at the correct price or cancel and provide a full refund. The customer is not obliged to accept the correct price.
Lithium and battery products
TORGEER® products include items containing lithium-ion batteries (power banks, wireless chargers with built-in batteries, certain headphones and accessories). Lithium products are subject to additional safety and transport rules. Please read the Product Safety, WEEE, Battery and Lithium Notice before use and before returning any lithium-containing item. Damaged, swollen, leaking or burnt battery products must not be posted through ordinary mail. The Company will arrange a safe return route.
Price and payment
Prices are shown clearly before checkout. Mandatory charges are not hidden. Delivery charges are shown before the customer is bound. The Company is not VAT registered. Payment is handled through PayPal, Revolut or another payment route shown at checkout and actually enabled on the site.
Delivery
Full delivery terms are in the Delivery Policy. Risk normally passes when the goods come into the consumer's physical possession. Title passes when payment is received in full and the order is accepted, subject to mandatory law.
Cancellation
For most online consumer goods, customers have a 14-day cancellation period starting the day after the consumer or their nominated recipient receives the goods. Certain exclusions may apply, including sealed goods not suitable for return for hygiene reasons once unsealed. The Returns and Refunds Policy explains the full process.
Faulty, misdescribed or unsuitable goods
If a product is faulty on arrival, develops a fault, does not match its description, or is otherwise not as it should be, contact the Company with the order number, a description of the issue and (where helpful) photographs or a short video.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 your statutory remedies are:
- Within 30 days of taking ownership - short-term right to reject and obtain a full refund where goods are not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose, or not as described.
- After 30 days and within 6 months - right to repair or replacement (fault presumed to have existed at time of supply). If repair/replacement is impossible, takes unreasonable time, or causes significant inconvenience, you may obtain a price reduction or final right to reject.
- After 6 months - right to repair, replacement, price reduction, or final right to reject, but you must show the fault existed at time of supply. Rights extend up to 6 years from supply in England, Wales and Northern Ireland (5 years from discovery in Scotland).
The Company does not require the customer to deal with the manufacturer first. Where a product is unsafe - particularly any lithium-containing product that overheats, swells, leaks or sparks - stop using it immediately, keep it away from flammable materials, and contact the Company for a safe return route.
Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in this page removes or limits rights that a consumer has by law. Marketplace rules, payment provider procedures, carrier procedures, or internal return labels do not remove mandatory UK consumer protections. Where UNIVERSALHOMEANDTECH LTD is identified on a marketplace as the seller of record, statutory consumer rights apply against UNIVERSALHOMEANDTECH LTD irrespective of marketplace policies.
Marketplace and platform orders
Marketplace platform procedures (such as Amazon UK or eBay UK) may apply to order messaging, refund processing, return labels and buyer protection. Those procedures do not remove mandatory consumer rights against the seller of record.
Customer responsibilities
Customers should provide accurate contact, delivery and payment information, inspect goods promptly after receipt, and follow reasonable return instructions. Products should be used according to their instructions, compatibility limits, safety notices and ordinary intended purpose.
Reviews, promotions and marketing claims
Reviews must be genuine. Discount claims, urgency claims and comparison pricing must be accurate and evidence-backed. The Company keeps internal records showing the basis for any sale, price reduction, countdown or verified-purchase label.
How to contact us
For order, return, refund, delivery, faulty goods, safety and complaint enquiries, contact the Company in writing using the contact details on torgeer.co.uk. For marketplace orders, customers may also use the marketplace messaging system, which the Company monitors.
Model cancellation form
You may use the form below to exercise your 14-day cancellation right. A clear written cancellation identifying the order is sufficient - use of this exact form is not required.
